Front of House Representative / Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a professional, friendly, and customer‑focused Front of House Representative to be the first point of contact at GEMS British International School Al Rehab. In this onsite role you will welcome students, parents, visitors and staff, ensuring a warm and efficient front‑office experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist parents, visitors, students and staff courteously.
• Manage the reception area to create a positive first impression.
• Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls and email inquiries.
• Handle visitor registration while following safeguarding and security procedures.
• Provide accurate information on school services, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate appointments, meetings and courier deliveries.
• Maintain reception records and support administrative tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Previous experience in front‑desk, reception, customer service or administrative roles, preferably in a school or hospitality setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional appearance.
• Organised, able to multitask and maintain a welcoming attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
