Frontend Engineer (TS/SCI) – Counterintelligence Polygraph Required

About the role

Accrete is seeking a Frontend Engineer to work at the intersection of data engineering, software development, and AI for high‑stakes government and enterprise projects. You will rapidly turn mission concepts into functional prototypes, collaborating closely with engineers, data scientists, AI/ML teams, product managers, and government customers.

Key responsibilities

• Rapidly develop functional software prototypes that combine data, APIs, and AI models.
• Translate ambiguous mission requirements into working technical solutions.
• Build lightweight applications, services, scripts, and user interfaces for testing new ideas.
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback and technical findings.
• Identify technical risks, limitations, and dependencies early in the development process.
• Maintain clear documentation of prototype architecture and decisions.
• Design and implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines supporting prototypes.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, clean, normalize, and enrich it for analytical and AI use.
• Write SQL queries and Python scripts to support data processing.

Required profile

• Strong generalist who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and learning new technologies.
• Ability to build functional prototypes quickly rather than spending months on design.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with government customers.

Required skills

• TypeScript (and JavaScript) frontend development.

• SQL for data querying.

• Experience integrating AI/ML models into applications.
