Full Stack Developer - Graduate Program

About the role

PwC's ETIC advisory practice in Cairo is looking for a Full Stack Developer within its graduate program. The role covers end-to-end design and building of complex web applications, with a focus on server-side JavaScript logic, microservices and container-based REST APIs. It is an intern/trainee position.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in designing and building complex web applications, end to end
• Implement server-side logic in JavaScript and variants, microservices architecture, and container-based REST APIs using OpenShift or Docker
• Support and mentor the team in understanding agile methodology principles
• Incorporate data protection and cybersecurity measures
• Optimize database and front-end request performance
• Carry out automated testing and test-driven development (TDD)
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Required profile

• Knowledge of JavaScript, libraries, frameworks and tech stacks
• Front-end development with React, HTML, CSS and Redux
• DevOps CI/CD tooling such as Gradle, Git, GitHub, GitLab, with developer-owned DevOps tasks
• Database management and ORM tools
• Drive for clean code, automation, design improvements and code quality through unit testing
• Use of asynchronous programming to improve productivity

Required skills

• Preferred: Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Google Cloud Platform, Redis, Auth0 SAML, DynamoDB, Cloud SQL (MySQL), Azure DevOps, Jenkins, API Gateway, JUnit, performance and contract testing, Linux, frontend UI development, automation testing
