Full Stack Developer (Python) Manager

About the role

PwC's advisory practice in Cairo is hiring a Python Full Stack Developer Manager. The role leads the design, development and delivery of scalable platforms and services, combining technical leadership, team management and the adoption of modern engineering practices with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable services using Python.
• Architect and oversee enterprise-level Web APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Drive the integration of AI solutions into existing platforms and services.
• Mentor a team of engineers and foster best practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Oversee API design and implementation in line with TMF standards and OpenAPI specifications.
• Lead cloud-native development and deployment using Azure PaaS, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, standards enforcement and performance optimization.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes and platform operations including change management.
• Drive performance, scalability and reliability initiatives across systems and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience building and maintaining scalable platforms and services.
• Proven experience leading development teams or technical initiatives.
• Excellent command of English, able to communicate with global stakeholders.

Required skills

• Strong Python, including enterprise-grade applications.
• Web APIs with FastAPI, REST APIs, TMF standards and OpenAPI.
• Azure PaaS, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Distributed systems, database design and SQL optimization.
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD tools.
• Preferred: AI/ML integration, TensorFlow and PyTorch.
