About the role

This full-time, on-site position is based in Alexandria and involves providing attentive, age-appropriate care for children. The nanny will support daily routines, ensure safety, and foster a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities and maintain a safe environment at all times.
• Plan and engage children in educational and play activities.
• Assist with early childhood learning and development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to family preferences and dietary needs.
• Perform light child-related housekeeping, such as tidying play areas and organizing belongings.
• Coordinate schedules, milestones, and specific care needs with parents.
• Communicate clearly about children’s well-being and daily progress.

Required profile

• Proven experience in nanny, babysitting, or early childhood caregiving.
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication with children and adults.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized environment and respond calmly in emergencies.
• Reliable transportation, punctuality, and commitment to a full-time schedule.
• Preferred certification in CPR/First Aid.
