Fullstack Python Developer (Senior Associate)

About the role

PwC's advisory practice in technology is looking for a Fullstack Python Developer (Senior Associate) at its ETIC office in Cairo. The role combines front-end and back-end development to build and maintain web applications, working closely with product and design teams to deliver user-friendly, efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python, Django and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to create high-quality software.
• Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces with HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and optimise database schemas and queries.
• Write clean, documented code and perform code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure performance and reliability.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in software development.
• Proven experience as a Fullstack Python Developer or similar role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong Python and web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB.
• Version control, preferably Git.
• Preferred: cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), Docker, RESTful APIs, microservices, Agile, CI/CD.
