General Cashier

About the role

The General Cashier ensures accurate and compliant cash management for Four Seasons Resort at Sharm El Sheikh. This position safeguards cash assets, supports financial operations, and contributes to guest satisfaction through reliable cash handling.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and audit daily cash deposits, preparing the hotel’s daily deposit and cash report.
• Retrieve deposit envelopes from the drop safe with a Security Officer or designated finance staff.
• Count, balance, organize, and monitor the bank and safe, including foreign currency processing.
• Issue and log House Banks, assign safety deposit boxes, and manage petty cash disbursements.
• Prepare and distribute cashiers’ due backs and maintain up‑to‑date files for outstanding bank contracts.
• Ensure compliance with local and corporate policies, internal controls, and safeguards related to House Banks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of Finance.

• Organizational skills to plan, monitor, and execute cash handling duties efficiently.
