Geocycle Operational Developer

About the role

Join Holcim’s Geocycle team in Suez to lead the deployment and implementation of maintenance policies across all Geocycle platforms. You will ensure maximum equipment availability, drive sustainability, and uphold the highest health, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and promote a strong Health & Safety culture, conduct risk analyses (JSA) and eliminate safety risks linked to equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with the Operational Development Manager to define and execute the operational development strategy for Geocycle platforms.
• Design and run performance assessment programs, including site visits to identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify, evaluate, and propose operational optimisation initiatives to enhance platform efficiency, reliability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Develop technical solutions for safe handling of new alternative fuel products (liquid and solid).
• Lead platform improvement and upgrade projects, supporting commissioning and start‑up while ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Provide on‑site coaching, guidance and technical training during commissioning and start‑up activities.
• Design and deliver a structured training programme for supervisors to standardise best practices.
• Consolidate, monitor and analyse platform KPIs such as costs, throughput, and productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial operations, maintenance or operational development.
• Strong leadership in Health & Safety and ability to conduct thorough risk analyses.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on process optimisation and equipment reliability.
• Experience managing projects, coaching teams and delivering technical training.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
