Geocycle Operational Developer

About the role

Within Holcim's Geocycle division, the Operational Developer is responsible for deploying and implementing the maintenance policy across all Geocycle platforms. The role ensures maximum equipment availability, long‑term sustainability of the production tool, and compliance with health, safety, quality and cost performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and promote a strong Health & Safety culture, conduct risk analyses and enforce the Group H&S Management System.
• Collaborate with the Operational Development Manager to define and execute the operational development strategy for Geocycle sites.
• Assess platform performance, conduct site visits, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Propose and implement optimisation initiatives to boost efficiency, reliability and sustainability.
• Design technical solutions for safe handling of new alternative fuel products (liquid and solid).
• Lead platform upgrade projects and support commissioning and start‑up activities.
• Provide on‑site coaching, guidance and technical training to operations teams.
• Develop and deliver a structured training programme for supervisors across all platforms.
• Monitor, analyse and challenge platform KPIs.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership in Health & Safety and ability to influence suppliers and subcontractors.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance assessment and optimisation.
• Proven project management skills, especially in commissioning and upgrade projects.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities to train operational teams.
