Geocycle Site Operator

About the role

The Geocycle Site Operator will run the Sokhna plant, ensuring safe, efficient and uninterrupted operations while meeting production, quality and environmental targets. The role involves continuous monitoring of plant processes, handling alternative fuels and maintaining equipment integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to health & safety legislation, enforce safety standards and manage PPE stock.
• Operate and monitor platform systems, process parameters and fire detection systems.
• Optimize feed rates to achieve maximum performance while maintaining quality.
• Develop and implement risk assessments and safe work instructions.
• Oversee stockpile aeration, temperature monitoring and high housekeeping standards.
• Prepare, manage and unload alternative fuel blends (RDF, biomass, TDF) for co‑processing.
• Coordinate receipt, handling and preparation of industrial waste for alternative fuel operations.
• Monitor and maintain reliability of the biomass screening system.
• Collect, analyse and record operational data, producing daily performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operating an industrial plant or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and ability to enforce safe working practices.
• Ability to work on shift, follow procedures and act as a role model for safety.
• Good communication skills for coordinating fuel receipt and stockpile management.
