Global Markets Intern, Summer 2027

About the role

Mastercard is recruiting a Global Markets intern for Summer 2027 in Cairo, Egypt. The internship sits within the Global Markets business unit and acts as a core pipeline into the Graduate Programme the following year, which includes two curated rotations across specialised career tracks. Applicants should state whether they have a preferred function or are open to all.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and Business Development track: strategic sales planning, consultative and solution selling, setting sales strategies for products aligned with geographical strategy, identifying and closing sales leads, and providing market intelligence to product developers and managers.
• Product Management and Solutions track: user experience, product performance, customer needs and insights, and architecting solutions, including coordinating project work, reporting status and financials, and managing implementation within budget.
• Full-time work of 10 weeks between 21 June and 28 August.

Required profile

• Penultimate-year student enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with an anticipated graduation date in 2028.
• Passion: actively seeks responsibility and delivers high-quality results and recommendations to clients.
• Rapid growth: eagerness to learn quickly through structured training and organic development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
