Graduate Trainee - Cyber Security & Cloud Security (Resilience)

About the role

PwC is opening a new Technology and Innovation Centre in Cairo, offering services from packaged applications (SAP, Oracle) to cybersecurity, data analytics, custom development and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google), and is looking for enthusiastic self-starters to help build it. As an intern/trainee in the Business Continuity and Resilience practice, you will work in a team of problem solvers, contributing to business continuity, resilience planning, incident response and pre-sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Help enterprises carry out resilience risk assessments aligned with strategic objectives
• Assist in developing, implementing, maintaining and testing resilience frameworks covering business continuity, crisis management, incident response and IT disaster recovery
• Learn compliance and auditing of standards such as ISO 22301, DRII, BCI and NIST
• Support clients' risk oversight agenda across governance, policy, standards, procedures, testing and metrics and reporting
• Help develop and review recovery plans and testing documentation, and assist in developing incident response activities and preparedness
• Evaluate existing resilience strategies, identify gaps and recommend improvements
• Support resilience executives in meeting sales targets and take part in RFPs and tender responses
• Develop technical and commercial proposals with the proposal team

Required profile

• Recently graduated from a degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Information Security or a related field
• Teamwork, curiosity and passion for resilience opportunities
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic and tactical thinking
• Understanding of enterprise threats, vulnerabilities and resilience countermeasures
• Knowledge of resilience and continuity standards and regulations
• Ability to explain secure system design in terms of business risk

Required skills

• Demonstrated understanding of standard project management methods (schedules, task lists, resources, issue management)
• Experience of customer service processes and issue resolution
