Groups Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an organized and detail‑oriented Groups Coordinator to join our dynamic hotel team in Cairo. You will act as the central communication hub for group initiatives, collaborating with internal departments, clients, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of group bookings and related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of group inquiries, from initial request through rate loading and distribution, following SOPs.
• Maintain accurate data in CRM systems and generate reports on group performance, rate audits, and progress for leadership.
• Coordinate group block requirements, handle ad‑hoc requests, and manage shared inboxes to ensure timely responses.
• Support RFP processes for group accounts, including data collection, rate setup, and tracking.
• Organise client visits, site inspections, and familiarisation trips to strengthen relationships.
• Address customer and agency inquiries related to group bookings, escalating issues when necessary.
• Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency, processes, and client engagement.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in coordination, administrative support, or sales support, preferably within hospitality, events, or group travel.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with a proven track record of handling multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Competence with Microsoft PowerPoint.
