Head of Galvanization (Full Time, On-site)

About the role

We are seeking a strategic leader to head our galvanizing department, driving operational excellence, growth and safety across all processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies for the galvanizing department, aligning with business objectives.
• Oversee all galvanizing processes to ensure optimal performance, efficiency and quality control.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team, fostering accountability, safety and continuous learning.
• Identify and implement process optimization initiatives to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources and schedules to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Champion a robust health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of progressive experience in operational or engineering leadership within heavy industrial or manufacturing environments, focusing on galvanizing processes.
• Proven senior‑management experience with the ability to make critical decisions and lead large‑scale initiatives.
• Strong engineering background, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Exceptional management and team‑leadership skills with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
• In‑depth knowledge of galvanizing processes, process optimization and stringent quality control methodologies.
• Unwavering commitment to health and safety best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in strategic planning, project management and budget management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal abilities.
