Head of Logistics Management

About the role

LEONI Egypt is seeking a senior leader to head its Logistics Management function. The role focuses on driving strategic initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and aligning logistics activities with the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Logistics Management function, ensuring KPIs are met.
• Design and implement strategic initiatives to improve logistics operations and performance.
• Establish and maintain standards, governance, and processes across the logistics function.
• Define and manage budgets for logistics activities and development projects.
• Drive improvements in team performance, organisational flexibility, diversity, and succession planning.
• Oversee Logistics Governance, Planning, Network Purchasing, Packaging Management, and Customs & Export Control at country level.

Required profile

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 8‑12 years of experience in logistics management or supply chain operations.
• 3‑5 years of leadership experience managing teams and functions.
• 3‑5 years of experience delivering logistics or operational improvement projects.
• Strong communication, adaptability, result orientation, collaboration, delegation, coaching and strategic leadership skills.
