Head of Manufacturing Infrastructure & Maintenance

About the role

The Head of Manufacturing Infrastructure & Maintenance leads all maintenance and CAPEX activities across Breadfast’s factories and kitchens. The role ensures equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency while supporting production targets through continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a long‑term maintenance strategy aligned with business growth and operational excellence.
• Develop annual and multi‑year master plans covering asset lifecycle, reliability, and performance KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, OTIF and OEE.
• Lead and build maintenance teams across multiple sites, including succession planning and capability development.
• Oversee maintenance of factories, utilities, HVAC, calibration equipment and critical production assets.
• Drive Lean, TPM and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce breakdowns, optimise preventive‑maintenance schedules and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
• Manage major engineering projects, new equipment installations and commissioning, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Control maintenance and CAPEX budgets, spare‑parts inventory and procurement, identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure safety, health and environmental compliance, promoting a zero‑incident culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferably in FMCG, with proven leadership of large, multi‑site teams.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
