Head of Primary - National School

About the role

Egypt Education Platform is looking for a Head of Primary for its National School, based on site in New Cairo City, starting in January 2026. The role is central to raising educational standards and improving the learning experience for all primary students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate the primary curriculum in line with national education standards and best practice.
• Provide instructional leadership and support staff in using effective teaching strategies and differentiation for diverse student needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Lead and manage a team of primary teachers, giving mentorship, professional development and performance evaluations.
• Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching and improve achievement.
• Engage parents and the wider community in partnerships that support the school's mission.
• Take part in school leadership meetings and contribute to the school's strategy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of teaching experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role in primary education.
• Strong understanding of primary pedagogy and national curriculum standards.
• Proven leadership skills and excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to an inclusive, respectful school culture.
