Head of Project Finance

About the role

The Head of Project Finance is responsible for leading the financial planning, execution, and control of major projects. This senior position ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations while providing strategic financial insight to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor project plans to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Oversee investment policy execution, manage project budgets, and ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Lead the creation and validation of financial models to support project decisions.
• Manage and develop project teams and coordinate with external consultants.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proposing corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present regular reports to the Board and keep stakeholders informed.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and confidentiality requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in project finance or related financial management roles.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Certification in health and safety at work and fire safety.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
• Proven leadership ability to motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams.
