Head of Retail Operations & Sales

About the role

Eyewa is expanding its footprint in Egypt and needs a senior leader to build and run its first retail stores. As Head of Retail Operations & Sales you will own the entire store network, from opening new locations to driving sales performance and ensuring a consistent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operations of all stores, ensuring standards, procedures and compliance across locations.
• Write and embed the Eyewa Egypt retail playbook, including SOPs, visual merchandising standards and store‑level KPIs.
• Lead operational aspects of new store openings, from handover through staffing, training and trading readiness.
• Drive sales performance – conversion, average order value, attach rates and revenue against targets.
• Monitor store performance, intervene quickly to close gaps and lift under‑performers.
• Partner with Marketing and Commercial on in‑store promotions, assortment and campaign execution.
• Hire, coach and develop Store Managers and their teams, building bench strength for rollout.
• Define scheduling, performance management and retention strategies for the network.
• Foster a selling and service culture that reflects the Eyewa brand.
• Gather store‑floor and customer insights and feed them back to Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in retail operations or multi‑store management, preferably in optical, fashion or specialty retail in Egypt.
• Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing teams.
• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on sales results.
