About the role

Innovitics inc. is looking for a hands‑on Head of Software Engineering to drive technical excellence across all product teams. The role combines senior architectural ownership with daily code review and mentorship, ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

Own and define solution architecture for all projects, selecting patterns, frameworks, and platforms.
Design scalable, maintainable, high‑performance systems and enforce security and reliability standards.
Lead architecture reviews, micro‑services, DDD, event‑driven and CQRS design decisions.
Participate in daily code reviews, focusing on quality, readability, SOLID principles, performance, and security.
Mentor engineers on best practices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps maturity, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
Evaluate build‑vs‑buy options with clear technical justification.

Required profile

10+ years of software engineering experience (minimum 120 months).
Proven track record in leading engineering teams and delivering complex, distributed systems.
Strong hands‑on coding ability and deep architectural expertise.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for code quality.
