About the role
The Health and Safety Specialist provides HSE leadership, training, and operational support to all levels of the organization, ensuring a safe working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provides HSE leadership, training, and operational support across all functional groups.
- Tracks health and safety metrics and uses data to identify and reduce risk.
- Collaborates with Engineering and Facilities on plant construction, equipment design, and hazardous assessments.
- Assists in incident investigations, verifies root causes, and approves preventative actions.
- Ensures emergency response systems, policies, and procedures are in place.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
- 1–2 years of experience in health and safety.
- Male candidates only.
Required skills
- Risk Assessment certification.
- First Aid certification.
- OSHA certification.
- Fire Fighting certification.
- Scaffolding certification.
