Health & Safety Specialist

About the role

A leading water treatment chemicals company is seeking a professional Health & Safety Specialist to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor occupational health and safety systems within company facilities.
• Identify and assess risks associated with chemical processes and equipment.
• Prepare incident, accident, and safety performance reports.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions on safety procedures and emergency response.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, preferably Chemistry or Environmental Science.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in industrial or chemical environments.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian safety laws and international standards.
• Resident of 6th of October City or nearby areas.
