About the role

Join the Fairmont Gold team in Cairo as a Hostess, the first point of contact for guests at this upscale property. You will create a warm welcome, manage seating flow, and support seamless dining experiences in a luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
• Manage reservation systems, maintain accurate guest records, and coordinate seating arrangements.
• Work closely with front‑of‑house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Seat guests promptly, considering special requests, accessibility needs, and dining preferences.
• Provide menus, answer dining inquiries, and communicate wait times clearly.
• Handle guest concerns with empathy, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain an organized host stand and support special events, VIP services, and peak‑time waitlist management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Hostess or similar front‑of‑house role in a luxury hotel or fine‑dining setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with diverse guests.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
• Ability to stay calm, composed, and solution‑focused under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
