Hostess – Restaurant

About the role

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests arriving at the restaurants of Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence and is responsible for delivering an exceptional, memorable experience. The position is full-time, with 44 working hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional service throughout their dining experience, working with a team of servers.
• Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and recommend table setups.
• Keep each dining area clean, make necessary improvements and check every table before opening so that it is properly set.
• Build a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information.

Required profile

• One to two years of previous experience in a Food & Beverage outlet.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel is considered an asset.
• Strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to operate computer equipment and other food and beverage computer systems.
