Hotel Maintenance Electrician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our hotel’s maintenance team, responding to guest repair requests and ensuring the smooth operation of all electrical and related systems.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves, maintain inventory, and requisition parts.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pneumatic/electronic, and mechanical equipment, including pump and motor replacement.
• Carry out basic pipe repairs, soldering, toilet plunging, drain unclogging, and replace switches, outlets, light bulbs, and A/C filters.
• Program televisions, perform minor painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs, and ensure thorough clean‑up.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Utilize engineering software for preventive maintenance, energy management and MEP system monitoring.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and act as Engineer on Duty when required.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong knowledge of hotel mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Willingness to follow safety, security and company policies.
• Professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
