HSE Manager – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

The company seeks an experienced HSE Manager to lead the Environment, Health & Safety program across its manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for building a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the plant-wide EHS program.
• Maintain high safety standards to prevent accidents, injuries, and work‑related illnesses.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with local legal and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risk areas and manage the plant EHS program.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.
• Report, investigate, and perform root‑cause analysis for incidents and near‑misses.
• Deliver hands‑on training on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent (highly desirable).
• 8–10 years of HSE experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of implementing HSE management systems and driving cultural change.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root‑cause analysis.
• Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance.
