Huawei Network and Security Administrator – Remote

About the role

As a Remote Huawei Network and Security Administrator you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and daily operation of our Huawei‑based network and security infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, performance, and robust security across datacenter, cloud, and branch environments while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise network architecture using Huawei switches, routers, firewalls and SD‑WAN solutions.
• Plan capacity, redundancy and high‑availability designs, including VLAN segmentation, QoS policies and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, static).
• Deploy and configure Huawei S‑Series switches, AR routers, USG firewalls and Agile Controllers.
• Manage Huawei iMaster NCE (Campus, WAN, SD‑WAN, Security) for centralized orchestration and policy enforcement.
• Implement NAC, user authentication, VPN (IPsec, SSL) and WLAN (controllers and APs) for secure remote access.
• Integrate Huawei devices with SIEM or monitoring tools such as eSight and generate health‑check reports.
• Perform daily health checks, log reviews, incident root‑cause analysis and maintain configuration backups, firmware updates and patch cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in network and security administration, preferably with Huawei technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
