Human Resources Manager – Alexandria

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the HR function for a fast‑growing agricultural and export company, ensuring that people strategies support business objectives and compliance standards. Based in Alexandria, you will oversee a large, diverse workforce and drive initiatives that enhance productivity, sustainability, and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Update and align HR policies and procedures with the company’s strategy and vision.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the internal HR team.
• Design and implement the annual recruitment plan, managing the full hiring cycle from posting to onboarding.
• Maintain and regularly update the organizational structure.
• Monitor HR metrics and reports to inform strategic decisions.
• Identify training needs, create training plans, and oversee execution.
• Develop and adjust compensation and benefits structures in line with market trends.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, social insurance regulations, and internal policies.
• Resolve labor disputes while protecting the rights of employees and the company.
• Facilitate effective communication between management and staff.
• Maintain a robust performance management system.
• Supervise accurate employee record‑keeping in compliance with legal requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (HR certifications are a plus).
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, social insurance, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in recruitment, training & development, compensation, and employee relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in agriculture, FMCG, or export sectors is advantageous.
