Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions for a mall management company, ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of high‑performing staff while maintaining full compliance with Egyptian labor regulations. The role balances operational support for the mall with strategic initiatives that drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual manpower plans, manage end‑to‑end recruitment, and build relationships with agencies and universities.
• Foster a positive work culture, handle employee grievances, conduct investigations, and drive engagement initiatives.
• Conduct training needs analysis, design annual training calendars, and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Benchmark salaries, manage payroll coordination, review benefits, and support annual salary reviews.
• Maintain employee records in HRIS, oversee attendance, leave, probation, and contract renewals.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian Labor Law, social insurance, and statutory reporting.
• Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and governance standards.
• Review organizational structure, recommend efficiency improvements, lead change‑management projects, and conduct employee satisfaction surveys.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
• 7‑10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3‑5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in shopping malls, retail, hospitality, mixed‑use developments or facility management.
• Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and organizational development.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law and Social Insurance regulations.
• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll software.
• Understanding of compensation & benefits design and talent management processes.
