Human Resources Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on HR Supervisor to lead HR operations at our manufacturing facility in Egypt. The role will build a robust local compliance system, act as the bridge between the Egypt plant and our China headquarters, and create a high‑performance work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimise the HR compliance framework for the Egypt factory, covering the 2025 Egyptian Labour Law, foreign employee quotas, work permits, social insurance (NOSI), labour arbitration and dispute resolution.
• Serve as primary liaison between the Egypt factory and the corporate HR centre in China, implement headquarters initiatives, align strategies and consolidate manpower, policy and risk data into regular reports.
• Manage daily operations of the local HR team, including workload allocation, training, performance reviews and standardised workflows; oversee the full employee lifecycle for Egyptian staff and Chinese expatriates.
• Establish formal personnel file management, compile monthly/quarterly/annual manpower reports and lead internal compliance self‑inspections and HR audits.
• Monitor updates to Egypt’s labour, social insurance and immigration policies, and continuously optimise local HR policies and processes for compliance and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Fluency in Arabic and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken); English proficiency is a strong plus.
• Minimum 4 years HR experience in overseas manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a team‑management role.
• Proven expertise in Egyptian labour relations, social insurance, income tax and foreign workforce regulations, with a track record of building compliance frameworks.
• Strong cross‑regional coordination, high stress tolerance and leadership capabilities; familiarity with Chinese‑funded overseas factories.
