Import Cost Accountant – Finance

About the role

Join AlShrouk Paper as an Import Cost Accountant and take charge of tracking, analyzing, and reporting all costs related to imported goods. You will work closely with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure accurate financial data and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and report duties, taxes, freight, insurance and other import‑related costs.
• Reconcile import accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics and sales to gather documentation.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses for management review.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and suggest process improvements.
• Participate in periodic inventory valuations and allocate costs correctly.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in cost accounting.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and data analysis.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
