Indirect Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Indirect Procurement Specialist will manage the sourcing and purchasing of non‑production goods and services that support daily operations. This role works closely with multiple internal departments to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of indirect materials and services such as MRO, office supplies, IT equipment, marketing materials, facility management, logistics, and professional services.
• Identify qualified suppliers, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
• Prepare RFQs, analyse quotations, and conduct commercial evaluations.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and track performance.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, HR, IT, Marketing, and Operations to understand requirements.
• Support budget control initiatives through effective purchasing strategies.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in indirect procurement or purchasing.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and cost‑evaluation skills.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and contract management.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• ERP experience – preferably SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
