Industrial Project Leader

About the role

Groupe Atlantic ECET is seeking an experienced Industrial Project Leader to drive end‑to‑end planning and execution of tooling, industrial equipment installations, upgrades and capital projects at its Cairo factory. You will ensure projects meet specifications, stay on schedule and within budget, and are handed over safely to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from definition, design and procurement to start‑up and validation.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets aligned with production needs.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, safety and external suppliers.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies and track project costs.
• Source, evaluate and select vendors; negotiate contracts, pricing and delivery terms.
• Oversee equipment installation, testing, commissioning and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Validate equipment performance and manage handover to operations and maintenance.
• Prepare regular status reports for leadership and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in industrial project management, tooling and equipment procurement.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale manufacturing projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment specifications.
