Industrial System Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking an Industrial System Cybersecurity Referent Engineer to support customer projects within Global Customer Project Operations. In a digital environment at the crossroads of IT, IoT, and OT, you will bring cybersecurity expertise to complex projects, closely linked to R&D and Services divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and specify dedicated secure solutions, including analysis of customer requirements, costing support, technical choices, and solution design.
• Implement system‑level security measures, define verification tests, and ensure traceability of information‑system security requirements.
• Manage cybersecurity throughout the project lifecycle, integrating accreditation procedures and maintaining security conditions with customers.
• Conduct organizational and technical audits of information‑system security as needed.
• Contribute to offer creation by leveraging knowledge of client applications and market needs.
• Propose, develop, and deliver differentiating expertise for target markets.
• Communicate, consolidate, and share know‑how internally and with customers.

Required profile

• Degree in Cybersecurity Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of IP networks, industrial networks (PLC, SCADA), system administration and protection techniques.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as ANSSI, LPM, ISO/IEC 27001/2, IEC 62443 and NIS.
• Experience with risk‑analysis methodologies like ISO/IEC 27005, IEC 62443, EBIOS and NIST.
• Fluency in English; French or another language is a plus.
