About the role

We are looking for a Resident Engineer to lead quality control and field coordination on infrastructure projects in Tortuguero. The role involves ensuring compliance with design documents, managing client inspections, and supporting the project schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Control the quality of the project and verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate inspections with the client and ensure all requirements are met.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor the project schedule and critical path, taking corrective actions when needed.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in infrastructure projects and field work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 2 years experience as a Resident Engineer.
• Intermediate proficiency with AutoCAD and Excel.
• Valid CFIA license.
• Willingness to relocate to the work area and have personal transport or easy access to transportation.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract from early September for 6 months.
• Salary range ₡1,000,000 – ₡1,200,000 per month.
• Work schedule Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
