Inspection Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Inspection Engineer to join our manufacturing site in An Nubariyah, Egypt. The role focuses on ensuring safe and reliable operation of our yeast production equipment through systematic inspections and condition‑based maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise safe working practices and conduct on‑site inspections to detect anomalies such as vibration, temperature, noise or odour.
• Perform machine health checks using established checklists and manuals.
• Develop critical control points for key equipment (separators, clarifiers, pumps) by reviewing operating and maintenance procedures.
• Identify critical equipment parameters and set upper/lower limits for monitoring.
• Assess equipment condition, recommend repair methods, verify repair quality and ensure proper lubrication across the plant.
• Design and implement a condition‑based maintenance programme for critical assets where none exists.
• Compile and apply relevant procedural and legislative requirements to deliver cost‑effective, quality service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in the food industry, heavy equipment or high‑tech packaging sector.
