Integrity and Compliance Manager

About the role

Arcera is a global life‑sciences company headquartered in Abu Dhabi, operating in more than 90 countries. The Integrity and Compliance Manager will lead the Integrity & Compliance programme in Egypt, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, enhance and operate the Integrity & Compliance (I&C) programme in Egypt, aligning with global frameworks and local regulatory requirements.
• Lead compliance reviews and risk assessments, design and monitor internal controls, and provide recommendations to management.
• Guide business units on compliance matters, oversee third‑party due diligence, HCP/HCO engagements and data‑privacy support.
• Localise, communicate and implement compliance policies and procedures, serving as the primary contact for compliant business practices.
• Manage periodic compliance monitoring, reporting risks and trends, and contribute to Compliance Committee reports.
• Oversee the speak‑up process, handling intake, assessment and follow‑up of reported concerns.
• Plan and deliver compliance training programmes tailored to business needs.
• Collaborate with regional and global compliance teams to share best practices and improve the programme.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, business, life sciences or related field; advanced degree or recognised compliance certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years experience in compliance or legal, with at least 4–5 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Proven track record in compliance monitoring, investigations and remediation activities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and risk‑assessment capabilities.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally for meetings, audits and trainings.
