Interior Designer – Residential & Commercial Projects

About the role

The Interior Designer will join Cocobolo’s design team in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid to create cohesive residential and commercial interiors that showcase the company’s furniture and home‑furnishing collections. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on translating client needs into functional, aesthetically‑pleasing spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and project briefings.
• Develop mood boards, space plans, material palettes and detailed design proposals.
• Integrate Cocobolo furniture and finishes into interior concepts for both residential and commercial projects.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, graphics and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Prepare presentations and refine layouts based on feedback.
• Research current trends, materials, ergonomics and sustainability considerations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in spatial planning, interior layout development and design documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for interacting with clients, craftsmen and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) and industry‑standard 3D modeling software.
• Graphic design capabilities for creating concept boards and client‑ready visual materials.
• Research skills to explore materials, finishes, usability and emerging design trends.
