Internal Auditor – Fitness Company

About the role

Smart Gym, a leading fitness brand with ten branches across Cairo, is looking for a detail‑driven Internal Auditor. You will safeguard the integrity of financial operations across all locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and robust internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Apply auditing standards, company policies, and industry regulations to all financial processes.
• Conduct on‑site audit visits to each branch, reviewing financial documents and systems.
• Inspect accounting records, cash handling, inventory control, purchasing, payroll and commissions for accuracy.
• Collect, prepare, and organise both physical and digital documentation for audit procedures.
• Identify risk areas, gaps and opportunities for improvement, and present findings to senior management.
• Recommend corrective actions and monitor implementation of improved processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Internal Auditor or in a comparable role.
• Experience in retail or hospitality environments is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software.
• Experience using auditing tools.
