International Arbitration Partner / Counsel (UAE/MENA)

About the role

We are seeking a senior international arbitration practitioner to join a leading GAR‑100 law firm’s UAE office. The role offers the opportunity to lead high‑value, complex disputes across the MENA region and to shape the firm’s regional arbitration practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead international arbitration proceedings from inception to award.
• Advise clients on dispute strategy, risk assessment, and enforcement across the region.
• Draft pleadings, memorials, submissions and other arbitration documentation.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to regional business development.
• Support and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Current title of counsel or partner at a GAR‑100‑ranked firm or equivalent.
• Strong track record in international commercial arbitration and/or investor‑state disputes.
• Experience in the UAE or broader MENA region preferred.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and advocacy abilities.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with appetite for regional market development.
