International Trading Specialist – Business Development

About the role

POSCO INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION is expanding its global trading operations and seeks an International Trading Specialist to drive business development. The role supports procurement and sales activities, aligns them with corporate strategy, and collaborates closely with regional offices.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with market counterparts, sharing best practices, combining volumes, and optimizing supplier‑customer relationships.
• Support and ensure headquarters’ procurement and sales activities align with strategic goals.
• Coordinate effective collaboration with regional sales offices.
• Define clear quantitative and qualitative business targets for the team and ensure their fulfillment.
• Analyze trading risks and devise proactive solutions to prevent commercial loss.
• Report market situations regularly to relevant headquarters teams.
• Identify potential business opportunities and develop new ventures in coordination with headquarters and regional offices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, international business, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, spend analytics tools, e‑sourcing platforms, project management, and presentation skills.
• Strong command of English, both oral and written.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in trading, steel, or related industries (preferred).
