IT Administrator

About the role

The International School of Choueifat seeks an IT Administrator to maintain and develop its technology environment. The role ensures reliable operation of all hardware, software, and network resources supporting the school’s educational mission.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy SABIS software applications, manage user access, and provide training and support documentation.
• Procure, set up, and maintain hardware and network components including servers, switches, cabinets, workstations, laptops, thin clients and interactive whiteboards.
• Maintain the entire IT infrastructure – server rooms, network equipment, end‑user devices – in line with SABIS policies and coordinate with the regional IT team.
• Monitor data integrity, perform regular backups, and manage disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Report software malfunctions and service requests through the SABIS IssueTrak system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of IT experience, preferably in an educational environment.
• Proficiency in English; local language skills where applicable.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Cisco networking knowledge (preferred).
• MCITP certification (preferred).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Microsoft Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
• Server and user account management.
• Network design, implementation and security.
• Database management systems.
