IT Operations Associate

About the role

PwC is hiring an IT Operations Associate for its ETIC internal firm services unit in Cairo. The role delivers quality IT service to ETIC staff, covering onboarding, hardware and software support, asset management and helpdesk tasks. It is an on-site position in New Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure laptops to support the onboarding of new employees.
• Handle onboarding by delivering IT equipment, collecting documentation and giving IT induction when needed.
• Provide IT support for hardware (laptops, printers, smartphones) and software (Windows 10, Google Suite and in-house applications).
• Provide remote or on-site support for ETIC staff, including meeting rooms and video conferences.
• Manage IT assets: registration, assignment and recycling across the relevant systems.
• Work with firmwide IT teams to keep IT systems reliable and to route IT requests through the right channels.
• Assess technical and operational requirements of business solutions and implement and test them.

Required profile

• 0-1 years of experience in an IT Support role; immediate hire available.
• Self-motivated fast learner with initiative and adaptability, able to work in a team.
• Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in English.
• Preferred: Android and iOS app experience, networking or computer science background, CCNA or MCSA knowledge, and ITIL Foundation certification.
