IT Project Manager

About the role

CCDS, a cloud consultancy for digitalization and security, is looking for a proactive and highly organized IT Project Manager in Cairo. The role suits a hands-on professional who can independently manage medium IT and cybersecurity projects and also support the coordination and execution of larger projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from initiation through successful closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, action trackers, status reports, risk logs and issue logs.
• Coordinate project activities across customers, vendors, distributors, technical teams, Sales, Presales, Procurement and Finance.
• Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, pending actions and timelines, and follow up with task owners and stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate delays, risks, blockers and unresolved issues, and arrange meetings and minutes of meeting (MoM).
• Support project closure by collecting deliverables, customer confirmations, approvals and closure documentation.
• Support larger projects through coordination, reporting, documentation and stakeholder follow-up.
• Coordinate procurement activities such as quotations, BOQs/BOMs, POs, delivery schedules, licenses and vendor clarifications, and track them through approval, delivery, license activation and invoicing support.
• Maintain accurate project records, communications, approvals, trackers and documentation, and keep project management tools and internal systems updated.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, PMO, IT service delivery, procurement coordination or vendor management.
• Experience in IT, cybersecurity, system integration, technology services, vendors or distributors is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of the project management lifecycle, procurement cycles and small-to-medium projects with limited supervision.
• Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal English communication, reporting, documentation and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Zoho Projects, Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday.com or similar tools, and ERP, CRM, procurement or ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, cloud, Microsoft solutions or managed services.
• PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation or another recognized project management certification.
