IT Technical Support – Project Coordination

About the role

The IT Technical Support professional will act as the bridge between the Corporate IT Department and operational project sites, ensuring that all IT needs for local and international projects are met efficiently. This role involves supervising, coordinating, and synchronising IT activities across multiple project locations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse IT requirements for new projects and develop budget estimates.
• Coordinate the full lifecycle of IT implementations – initiation, planning, execution, and closure – with internal IT sections and project sites.
• Oversee deployment of data networks, infrastructure, IP telephony, security, communication, and internet connectivity solutions, ensuring successful installation and configuration.
• Conduct site visits, produce status reports, and guarantee high‑quality IT service delivery.
• Prepare action plans, alternatives, and recommendations for project leaders based on surveyed requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement to track delivery of IT assets and align with approved timelines.
• Contribute to the creation of implementation standards, checklists, knowledge bases, and risk/contingency plans.
• Support HSE policies, risk assessments, and environmental considerations.

Required profile

• M.Sc. in Information Systems or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
