Junior Data Analyst – Entry Level

About the role

Paymob is looking for a motivated fresh graduate to join the analytics team. As a Junior Data Analyst you will support business operations by extracting, cleaning, analysing and presenting data from multiple sources to enable informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Extract reports and data from various systems, including Excel files, dashboards and internal tools.
• Clean, validate and organise data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for different stakeholders.
• Identify trends, issues, inconsistencies and anomalies within datasets.
• Develop simple dashboards using Excel and/or Power BI.
• Use Python (Pandas) to automate repetitive reporting and data tasks where applicable.
• Provide clear insights and summaries alongside raw data.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and data workflows.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reporting functions).
• Python with Pandas library.
• Power BI.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
