Junior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Cairo. The role offers recent graduates and early‑career professionals the chance to support the design and development of electrical systems, prepare technical drawings and documentation, and collaborate with senior engineers on diverse projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and modify electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Assist in the design and development of electrical control systems.
• Create and update technical documentation and design records.
• Support project teams in reviewing and implementing electrical designs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and project requirements.
• Troubleshoot design‑related issues and propose practical solutions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and engineering skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8 (preferred).
• Understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control circuits, and panel layouts.
