Junior Frontend Developer – Quality Engineering Track

About the role

Fornikil is seeking a Junior Frontend Developer who is passionate about software quality and platform testing. The role combines hands‑on testing of new features with frontend development tasks, offering a balanced experience in both quality engineering and UI development.

Key responsibilities

• Test new features, updates, and bug fixes across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices before and after release.
• Perform manual testing on multiple browsers, devices, and screen sizes, identifying functional, visual, usability, and responsive‑design issues.
• Create detailed bug reports with screenshots, recordings, reproduction steps, and expected results.
• Retest resolved issues, conduct regression testing, and maintain testing checklists.
• Review completed development tasks prior to release and monitor the live platform for unexpected problems.
• Support the development team with frontend tasks such as building pages, components, forms, and UI improvements.
• Convert approved UI/UX designs into functional, responsive frontend components using a modern framework.
• Identify and resolve frontend performance and compatibility issues, and integrate APIs with backend services.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive web design and mobile‑first development.
• Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React or Vue).
• Ability to use browser developer tools for inspection and debugging.
• Basic understanding of APIs and frontend‑backend integration.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to clearly explain and reproduce bugs.
• Good problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
