About the role

Join Elsewedy Electric’s Graduate Development Program as a Junior Java Developer. You will work on building scalable, secure backend services while rotating through different technology teams, receiving mentorship and formal training to accelerate your professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based applications and REST APIs.
• Support existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Work with SQL Server databases, write efficient queries, and optimise database performance.
• Apply JWT authentication and authorization mechanisms to secure services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 0–2 years of hands‑on experience in Java development.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
