Junior Java Developer (Microservices)

About the role

Advansys is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join its innovative backend team. You will work with Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kubernetes to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud‑native applications. This position offers the chance to collaborate with experienced engineers while growing your expertise in modern backend technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Implement Microservices architecture for new and existing solutions.
• Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate services and maintain infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance and reliability.
• Follow best practices in development, deployment, and documentation.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in Java development or a similar technical role.
• Solid understanding of backend technologies, especially Java and Spring Boot.
• Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration, particularly Kubernetes.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in backend development.
